I have had such bad internet connection problems for a very long time and have not been able to get back to the blog until today.

I have lots of Moyle info, not as much as I would like to have though ;-) and am happy to share what I have with you. We knew Frederick had gone to New Zealand also, like his and Johnson’s brother Joseph, but other than that do not know too much else about his life in New Zealand.

My other half Paul is your Moyle cousin (I’m the one doing the research though) and we are so pleased to have found you.

I have been doing Mum’s side of the family for about 3 years & have gathered a lot of info.

We would love to see some Laity pictures, we don’t have any at all, only Charles Moyle with his mum being a Laity. We have a copy of Sophia and Johnson’s marriage cert, but thanks for the offer. We are absolutely delighted to hear from you! My partner Paul is your cousin (I’m never sure quite how many times removed and whether it’s first cousin, second cousin and so on -but cousins you are).

I have a huge Laity family tree going way way back, which I will be happy to share with you. Sadly we have no pictures of Sophia or her husband Johnson Moyle, and only really have pics of their son Charles who is Paul’s late father.

If you click on the link to my Ancestors at Rest Graveyard Rabbit blog (on the right sidebar), you will be able to see the last resting place for Sophia and Johnson (along with Paul’s mother).

I will try to dig up some things to share with you and send them to your email (if that is the email address with your comment)?

I’ve just found this – your grandfather Herbert arrived in New York on the ship Philadelphia on 29th May 1910 in company with a few other people, on his route to Mohawk, MI.
