Thanks for dropping by and for your comment.  It is lovely to collect all the different things some of our ancestors have used or done.  I have an article that Great Uncle Frederick wrote in a Bird paper about breeding ducks, which is interesting too and maybe I will place on the blog at some stage.

I wonder if Great Uncle Frederick is the reason we have pet ducks, cos that&#039;s where I get it from?  ;-)  Well, sadly only one duck now, Demelza&#039;s &quot;husband&quot; Donny died just over three months ago of old duck age!!
