Following on from Tombstone Tuesday yesterday about my Great Uncle Frederick and his ducks, I thought it would be ok to follow that today on Wordless Wednesday with a photo taken last week in our garden! This one is for posterity when our future descendants will see their great great great grandfather (Paul) with our pets!

Christine, I love how your pictures are so big. I may try to get mine larger too.
I liked your post about your father too. I miss both of my parents. My father went before my mother.

Hallo Jo,
Thanks for dropping by and for your comment. I am so sorry you have lost both your parents – I am lucky that I still have my dear Mum. My Dad was so very interested in our family history – he would have loved how far back I have researched now and we could have spent endless hours comparing notes, researching things together.
You say you love how my pictures are so big! I didn’t realise they were big as such!! When I upload them to this blog there seems to be three sizes I can use: a thumbnail, medium and large. Mine tend to automatically go to the large size but in some cases I have had to make the width smaller for the blog as it goes off the page! But others seem to just automatically call themselves medium so I usually just add them as they are. I hope you manage to make yours larger with no problems. I am not at all technically-minded in that way, so not too sure if I can help you if you need any help but if I can I certainly will.
Kind regards,
Christine (rootsresearcher)
