Hallo cousin Ann,

It's so lovely to hear from you here on the blog. Thanks for visiting and for your comment. My Dad would have loved all this research we are able to do now and I just know he would find all the blogs so interesting. (And you and I share Dads with very similar names)! I very much wish I could ask my Dad lots of questions now. I remember a lot of things he said over the years about some of the ancestors that he knew or knew of, but unfortunately when I was younger I did not think too much about remembering the important details of this information, so consequently there is a lot I wish I could re-check with Dad.

Aah, the Quainton Reads! Did you see I have added that to my "Coming Soon ..." page? I will try to get all the Quainton Read quandary research up on the blog during the coming week, if not before! I bet you were surprised to hear from cousin Maureen that I am more or less of the same opinion as you now about William Read and his wife Elizabeth Bush!! ;-)

Thanks again for your visit and comment Ann, it is much appreciated.

Kind regards,
cousin Chrissie (rootsresearcher)

What a lovely thought, Chrissie. It made me think of my father, Kenneth Read Everitt (his mother was one of the Quainton Reads). He would have been so interested in everything I've unearthed about the family history and how I wish I could ask him questions! Scarcely a day passes that I don't think of him.
