Today would be the birthday of my maternal grandfather Frederick Sinclair. I loved him very much and still miss him terribly.
He loved to keep scrapbooks and had loads of them. It was always a delight when I was a child and older, poring through them. Grandpa would put anything and everything in them, there did not seem to be an order of topics. If he liked the look of it he would cut it out of where he saw it and stick it into his scrapbook. There were also news items, photographs, all sorts.
The photos of Grandpa that I show here have been on the blog before, but I have very few photos of him, so hope I am forgiven for showing this again. (It was used for the Carnival of Genealogy – Scrapbooking Your Family post).

Hi! I love your digital scrapbook picture you use! What program do you use for them? I am a complete novice and have never done any digital scrapbooking or regular scrapbooking. Hallo Jenni, Thank you for visiting my blog and for your comment. I have two programmes, Paint Shop Pro 7 and Paint Shop Pro X (ten) but I prefer PSP 7 out of the two of them. There are lots of digital scrapbooking tutorials out there in cyberspace for whichever programme you decide to get. Also, to help you get started quickly, there are free digital scrapbooking websites and blogs where items are already made and you can download them to use on your own image. I would suggest that if you have a look around, download what is called a Quickpage because the page is already set up and all you have to do is add your photos – very easy to do. You can also add text and maybe some other items if you want. If you have a look around, download some bits and pieces and get yourself a programme to use, get back to me and I will “talk” you through things if you would like.
