I’m delighted and very honoured to have been nominated for the One Lovely Blog Award by Aillin at Australian Genealogy Journeys. Thank you so much Aillin for this lovely surprise. 🙂 🙂 🙂 (See, it’s making me smile a lot)!!
We are given very few rules for accepting the award and they are as follows:

The 15 other blogs I have chosen to pass the One Lovely Blog Award on to are mainly fairly new ones to me and I have chosen them because I have found them interesting, helpful, and always a pleasure to visit. Some also combine scrapbooking with their genealogy, which is something I like very much and some cover research in the UK, as I do.

Hallo Ros, I’m glad you are so pleased with the Award. I know how you feel as it wasn’t so long ago that I received my first Award and I believe I also made a comment at the time that it had brightened up my day so much!! You are most welcome Vicki. Your blog is just so wonderful and you are so lucky to have such a great diary. It gives a real insight into the times. My family lived in London during the blitz but none kept a diary or certainly nothing that has survived. 🙂

Hallo MarDi, I’m so pleased you like the Award. Your blog is always so interesting and I love the graphics for the themes, I especially love the black sheep!! (Possibly as I have a thing about sheep since we had Buttercup and Daisy as pets from when they were little lambs, saving them from going to the slaughterhouse)!! I wonder if there are any Awards out there for Project 365 blogs? 😉
